We often hear, “Oh, you’re taking the kids too?” Our response usually dances around the many challenges faced with traveling with kids, including safety, uncertainty in new places, hassles with the immense volume of kid stuff, not to mention the increased expense – but is ultimately overwhelmed by our strong desire to travel and share those experiences with our kids! Traveling can be fun, relatively low maintenance, with a significantly reduced budget given some advanced planning and great travel hacks.
